CORRIDA is part of The BXLCRIT , THE amateur cycling race in Brussels.
This time, we’re bringing crit vibes to the running world.
The race will take place just before the first cycling crits of the afternoon, a unique chance to run in a fully-privatised Bois de la Cambre. No concrete blocks, no obstacles, just smooth roads lined with 700+ barriers, DJs, food & drinks, and the electric BXLCRIT atmosphere.

This year, CORRIDA takes over the full loop of the Bois de la Cambre, one of Brussels’ most iconic circuits.
No traffic, no obstacles, just smooth roads, wide turns, and a buzzing crowd waiting to cheer you on every lap. It’s a course designed for everyone: fast enough for those chasing the front, accessible enough for beginners who just want to run on private roads.

All category must take place on the startline on their designated box before 10:05 am!

1. Everyone lines up together. But don’t worry, we’ll have separate rankings for men and women, so everyone gets their moment.
2. Results are based on scratch rankings: the first across the line wins. Simple.
And whether you’re fighting for the podium or rolling in with the pack, your place still counts, every runners is part of the story.
3. When you come back on the line after your first laps, don’t forget to hype up the crowd! Moments like that don’t happen very often.
4. Creative Celebrations (even for P183) can get you prizes (just a tip).

What's a Corrida ?
Born in Brazil back in 1925, the corrida was the only race allowed in winter, a way to dodge the rules and keep running when everything else stopped.
Almost 100 years later, that same rebel spirit lands in Brussels as part of The BXLCRIT, just before the cycling races kick off.
Get ready for a festive run in a fully-privatised Bois de la Cambre: no obstacles, no concret bloc, just smooth roads lined with surrounded by barriers , DJs, smoke machines, food & drinks, and a crowd cheering you like a pro.
